Bullying

Everyone has already seen it, someone gets bullied in the school or somewhere else. More and more people get bullied with hard consequences.
A lot of cases where bullied people commit suicide become known. But now there’s also cyber mobbing – people get bullied in social networks like Facebook, snap chat or something else. They get bullied all the time wherever they are. For example the case of Amanda Todd: she got bullied because of a photo on which she was naked. And there are a lot more of these cases. But what can you do when you get bullied? Search an adult you trust and talk to him for example a teacher or your parents. Try to stay away from places where you get bullied for example if you get bullied on Facebook do not log in again, but don’t cut your life from the world outside. If you get bullied stay near an adult or if you have friends go to them. And what can you do when other people get bullied? Go to an adult you trust and tell him that someone gets bullied. You also have to be kind to the person who gets bullied.

A good informative piece of writing. Interesting to see that the issues being dealt with in your country is very similar to the issues being dealt with in my country. We here in South Africa also have a lot of bullying. Hopefully this matter will soon be resolved in years to come in both our countries.Keep up the good writing!

Very good advice given about this topic. There are quite a lot of types of bullying too, it is very important to report the fact that you or your friend is being bullied so that someone can do something about it. Never bully back as two wrongs do not make a right. Be the better person and don’t retaliate.

Bullying is a major issue faced in South Africa as well. People are bullied for many different reasons which destroys their self esteem and brings them down. It is important for us to help these people and make them feel better about themselves.
Your article is very informative of the subject and is of help to those going through this situation, well done!

Very interesting topic ,I found your views to be quite accurate on why bullying seems to happen and how it occurs .Your strategy on how teens can stop it or put an end to the bullying does seem that it would cause the bullying to stop for a month or two at most but in the long run it is not very worth while. In South Africa to stand up against bullying and to put an end to it,you have to learn to stand up to the ones who belittle/bully you ,emotionally and physically .This does seem to be hard at the beginning but as you start to build your confidence and self esteem to ignore or stand up to your bully it becomes more easier .Telling some one also sometimes does not help at all it worsens the bullying and your bully can then use that against you ,but telling a friend whom you trust does relieve the pain and burden you carry and helps you to not hold a grudge on your bully forever as everyone does deserve a second chance in the end .

I completely agree with this problem and think this issue should be dealt with immediately.A lot of students do get bullied and believe that there life is over, but the idea of moving on and having support I think is a really good idea and you should strongly encourage people with your positive writing not only to help them but also in a way help people stand up and stop the bullying.

Being a South African student I can totally relate to this issue specifically as here to, bullying is a very serious issue that needs an urgent solution.

Keep on writing and helping people understand this issue :)

Talk to a parent, teacher, or another adult you trust. Adults need to know when bad things happen so they can help.
Be kind to the kid being bullied. Show them that you care by trying to include them. Sit with them at lunch or on the bus, talk to them at school, or invite them to do something. Just hanging out with them will help them know they aren’t alone.

people get bullied in various ways:cyber bullying, physically, emotionally etc…it is mostly teenagers who are the victims.teens do not realise that posting a picture on facebook may start of fun and innocent but they dont realise that it may later on haunt them.I say that if your being bullied just tell them to stop it pluck up the courage to tell them you do not like what they do ,if this issues gets worse then consult someone you trust, and adult, teacher etc there will always be help everywhere its just that we fear..

people dont understand how badly they affect people around them that they bully..they think that it is cool to bully but dont understand the emotions that their victims suffer…their action have a very bad affect on tehir victims lives and their victims usually cant cope with it so they look at options to deal with the issue…this often results in suicide so the bullies not only take a life of a person but they take someone elses child away, someones lover away…they dont understand anything

This is a problem that everybody has faced , even if you are the person that is bullying another person they might be bullied by their parents or family members such as uncles , aunts or cousins. Think about everyone not just the victim but the bully , he/she needs help to face whatever problems they have and nobody can face this world alone

I believe people should tighten their security settings on social networks, so they can “erase” that comment or status before the public sees it. It really helps a lot because I know I get to chose what i want posted on my wall on Facebook and a lot of people have done it because of cyber bullying…Great article, keep helping people through your advice(it could help a lot)

Thank you for writing this article, I feel for something that occurs so frequently it still requires more awareness. Just be careful with the way the construct the sentences. Try re-reading them and picking up one the way it sounds. However a brilliant article and I enjoyed reading it. Keep writing!!!
