Mediterranean cruise

6 cities in one week on a cruiser

The Italian operator MSC Cruises serves cruises on the Mediterranean sea and one route of them concludes the cities Genua, Neapel, Messina, Tunis, Barcelona and Marseille. The trip starts at Genua and also ends there. One of the possible ships is the MSC Splendida, a ship for 3274 passengers (about 1370 employees are working there), with 18 decks, 13 of them are for passengers. On the ship are pools, bars, casinos, restaurants, a theater and much more entertaining stuff, also the staff is really nice. The trip is a very impressive experience which shows a big variety. In every city the ship stays a couple of hours in the port and either the city is just a little walk away or a short ride with the bus or cap. The restaurant which serves a six-course menu in the evening and in the morning they a buffet offers a big choice of different food. During the trip the ship is very full and although the cabins are not the biggest ones. Many other opportunities make that trip worth it.

In conclusion it`s a very beautiful trip with many attractions.

Two ships from the MSC fleet, the MSC Opera and the MSC Sinfonia spend 6 months cruising up and down the east coast of South Africa. Some of the destinations they visit when here are the Portuguese Islands, Durban, Madagascar, Reunion Island, Inhaca Island, Fort Dauphin and Maputo. These ships are slightly smaller than the MSC Splendida as they can take approximately 1 800 passengers and 710 crew members. Both the Opera and the Sinfonia have 13 decks of which 7 are accessible to passengers. The entertainment, facilities and food offered sounds very similar to that of the Splendida. The MSC Splendida is said to visit South African shores in 2016 and as someone who goes on cruises every year I cannot wait!

Your Article on the MSC cruises was very interesting. I am from South Africa and this article reminds me of the cruises I have been on, that are quite similar to the MSC cruises. The experience of visiting different beautiful cities was one of the highlights of the cruise. I met many people from different countries that were very friendly which have interesting backgrounds.

Yes i found the many cities the best, cause it was so impressive to be in another country and city every day. And the staff was very nice and funny, I found that very nice.

I think in South Africa is it still more good, cause you have warm weather, i could not enjoy the pool´s cause it was to cold. I would enjoy one in South Africa the best, cause i find it very interesting to visit countries on another continent, where is everything different as you know it.
